I haven't seen this announced anywhere and sort of just lucked out in finding it. I can't remember which sport was on CBS this past Monday but, it cancelled their regular Monday night TV line-up. I think it might have been Baseball. Anyway, I went into my Tivo's search tool and typed in How I Met Your Mother and found that this past Monday's new episode will be airing at 1 pm (Eastern so you may want to check you local listings).
So, here is the schedule, per my listings for Sunday, October 21, 2007:
How I Met Your Mother: 1:00 pm
Big Bang Theory: 1:30 pm
Two and a Half Men: 2:00 pm
Rules of Engagement: 2:30 pm
