My family has this sweet December tradition that I would love to share with all of you! We look at December 1st as the official start of the Christmas Season. So, every year on December 1st, my Mom would decorate the house and we would all decorate the Christmas tree in the evening. The house would be lit solely by a roaring fire and candle light, Christmas tunes would play in the background, and we would enjoy some egg nog...virgin nog for us when we were kids.
So, forgive me for the tardiness as it is now actually December 2nd but, as an adult, I now have my own house to decorate and was busy celebrating December 1st all day.
But, raise a glass of egg nog (or whatever your seasonal drink of preference is).
