In a TV obsessed world, how will all of you feel if the Writers' Strike continues past the new year? It seems that most shows will run out of new material between late December and even into February. So, if the strike continues that long, how will all of you fair? I am a self-professed couch "pretzel" so, one would imagine that the prospect of running out of shows to watch would be an extremely daunting thought for me. Not so! I actually welcome it. What better time than to catch up on reading, walking the dog, chit chatting with the hubby, cleaning out the closets and just getting stuff done? TV consumes a lot of time. It helps to have a Tivo but, even with a Tivo, you eventually have to watch the shows it records or that magnificent machine will run out of recording space and it will start deleting your older, as yet un-viewed shows for you.
So, bring it!
Oh, and I am hearing rumors...several times...that my favorite reality show ever may do a first ever Winter edition of their show! Big Brother may have to step up and give us something to watch if this strike continues longer than hoped! So, I sort of can't find one bad thing to say about this strike!
I know...I am shamelessly selfish! At least I can admit it!
