In Love...With a Gadget...
And my Hubby, of course! But, this thing is magnificent! Mine just came yesterday and, I am tickled! It has so much functionality in a small 6 ounce package! Love it! The screen is easier to use then the iPhone from Apple. I couldn't get the keypad in the iPhone's screen to work because, if you have any nails at all, you will miss the letters you are aiming for 99% of the time. The Voyager by LG (Verizon) has both an alpha/numeric keyboard in the front screen and a full qwerty board on the inside. The screen is well calibrated to accept your touches the right way the first time. This device is extremely user friendly.

Love At First Bite!
I highly recommend this candy bar for those of you who are lovers of all things chocolate and peanut butter. This candy bar won't be around forever as it is a limited edition.
Get it, eat it, love it...then tell me about what good taste I have!
You can go here: http://www.candy4u.com/helapebucaba.html to order it or, just to see what the packaging looks like so you can keep your eyes open for it in your local grocery store. I found mine at Kroger.
Did I Mention?
Caruso: Robert, can you tell me where you were at 9 PM last night?
Robert: I was with my girlfriend.
Caruso: Robert, we spoke to your girlfriend and she said that she was with her mom.
Robert: She's wrong.
Caruso: Are you saying that she is lying, Robert? Because, Robert, if you are saying she is lying, we have some things we need to know. We will be talking to your girlfriend again. For now, Robert, don't leave town.
Enough! We know his name is Robert. He knows his name is Robert. The dang birds outside know his name is Robert.
I love all of the CSI's. But, Caruso always has me wondering if his bad acting might have me eliminating CSI: Miami from my schedule. He distracts me from the enjoyment of watching the show. He even distracts my concentration. I pay too much attention to how he turns from side to side each time he has to say a line, and how many times he says a character's name in each scene.
Is a show worth watching when you can't get past the acting of one of the characters in the show?

Hopefully it lasts!
Drinking Sewage Water
Filed under: Etc.Orange County is getting Twocupped! For real!
The Magic Kingdom’s residents will soon be drinking water that was mingled with their peepoo.
The O.C. is one of the first county’s in the U.S. to implement an intense new water purification program that will take the water from your toilet to your tap.
Reusable water, taking conservation to the next levels.
The intense process to purify the sewage into drinking water includes a hard scrubbing with filters, screens, chemicals and ultraviolet light and the passage of time underground.
It may even taste better than regular tap water!
Drought-plagued Georgia should look into this!

I Keep My Promises...
Well, here is the best advice I can give you on how to help keep acid reflux at bay.
Somewhere around 3 or 4 years ago, I decided that I needed to lose a little bit of weight. My age stomped all over my metabolism and it was a little bit past starting to show around my waist band. So, I chose the Low-Carb diet. Now, I didn't go as far as some. I believe in working the Low-Carb diet with moderation. Back then, I was getting acid reflux attacks for a week at a time maybe once or twice a month. I bought some literature on the Low-Carb diet, including recipe books, and learned enough to get me started. One thing that I read that had me optimistically skeptical was that people who go on the diet and who suffer from acid reflux, often find relief...either total or partial.
True to form, the weight started melting off my waist band and, I started forgetting the last time I suffered from an acid reflux attack.
3 or 4 years later, the only times that I suffer from acid reflux attacks are when I set my diet aside for a couple weeks. The holidays can be a pain but, I try to behave as much as will allow me to still enjoy.
So, here is my Low-Carb recipe for success. Don't cut the carbs entirely. They are an important part of a regular and balanced diet. But, cut back on them. Instead of pastas and breads 3 or more times a week, try treating yourself to them once or twice a week. The same goes with sweet treats like chocolate and other candies. Limit the acidic foods like red sauces, either Italian or Mexican and anything tomato based. Don't cut them out entirely. Just know that if you overload on them, you will pay the price. The same with spicy foods. And, keep in mind that your weight can be a big factor in your acid reflux. No one is saying that super models don't suffer from acid reflux, but, I do notice a nice correlation between any continuous weight gain and my rare attacks of acid reflux.
I was on prescription acid reflux medicine, which is actually dangerous. You need acid in your body. Acid reflux meds essentially wipe out all of your acid and that is not healthy. Try to control it naturally through your diet. Your body will thank you for it.
I can't say that this will be your cure for acid reflux. We are all as different as snow flakes. But, it is worth a shot. It worked for me and countless others!
