This is to update you all on my brows. A few days after my tattooing, the brows flaked and lightened up a lot. I have had to use makeup to darken them to a shade I feel comfortable with and will be going in tomorrow to get a touch up. That was to be expected as they do tend to lighten up after the first time. I just wasn't aware of how much they would lighten up. I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed at first but, because the outer corner of my left eyebrow is still fairly dark, I am encouraged by that and have faith that they will turn out exactly how I want them. I just really hope it will happen this time so I don't have to wait another month to go back and get them touched up again.
My understanding is that, at some point, your brows become saturated with only as much color as it can take and, no matter how much more color you keep tattooing on at that one appointment, it just won't take any more.
So, we'll see. Wish me luck. I really would love to be able to set aside my eyebrow powder and brush all together.
