On my mind...

ON MY MIND NOW...Ehh...not much to say lately. Feeling anxious, off kilter, restless and stressed.

Needed My Camera...

I would swear that I stepped into the USA Channel during my trip to the mall today. The network's tag line is "Characters welcome" and my local mall was definitely living by that one.

From the tragically trendy young couple with a 4 or 5 year old daughter and another on the way. The problem with them was that Daddy needed to learn how to fit jeans for his case of Noassatall. (For those of you who don't get it...No Ass At All). To Steven Cojocaru's lookalike working at a Religious Decor kiosk. Then, the coup de grace was the girl who didn't look any older than 15 who came into the mall in a tank top, short booty shorts, "Boots With The Fur" and a sparkly, bright and shiny, beautiful, wedding-ring-looking gigantic Platinum set diamond ring on her betrothal finger. Her outfit alone was something to behold. But, the fact that it was only 46 degrees outside made it even more difficult not to give her the raised eyebrow to express, without words, "What were you thinking when you left the house like that?" And, given how young she looked, what were her parents thinking when they let her leave the house looking like she was working a street corner? Without a jacket...
There were women with too much makeup and one who nearly let her ladies (yes...her boobies) out to play. Or, perhaps they were trying to make a break for it. Either way...those girls were doing more greeting at her makeup counter than she actually was.

Today was very busy at the mall. Oddly busy for the fact that is was Sunday and, we still have just under 2 weeks before "Black Friday". Anyway, due to the fact that it was so busy, it gave me so much to look at. So many questionable wardrobe decisions.

I wish that I had brought my camera.

And, for the record, I am all for personal expression. I believe that you should wear what makes you feel comfortable. That being said, be prepared for people to laugh at you, raise eyebrows at you, and form opinions about you based on your choice of personal outward expression through the colors, fabrics and lack there of, that you choose to don your body with.
