On my mind...

ON MY MIND NOW...Ehh...not much to say lately. Feeling anxious, off kilter, restless and stressed.

Not Trying to Be a Hypocrite...

pregnancy or how angry he or she was that this magazine put I know that this sounds way hypocritical but, I feel strongly about it and so, it must be said. I was reading a popular magazine today when I read a little snippet from their MailBag section. It was from someone in Pasadena, California about Halle Berry. She was the magazine's covergirl in last weeks issue and the reader/commenter reprimanded the magazine for being so irresponsible so as to put Halle on their cover while announcing her pregnancy with her current boyfriend. The reader/commenter was miffed about the "glorifications of unwed mothers". He or she would like to see children learn a more old-fashioned way of life where they get married before they have children. He or she even specified that we should teach our girls that lesson as he or she actually said, "especially our girls...." What really bugged me was not his or her opinion on Halle's unwedHalle on their cover simply to announce her pregnancy. What bugged me is that this person didn't have the strength in his or her moral convictions to proudly sign his or her name to the comment. His or her comment was listed as "Name Withheld Pasadena, Calif".

Bravo! Way to have the balls to stand up for what you believe in and do it under the guise of a nobody!

So, the reason I feel a bit hypocritical is that I do this blog pretty anonymously. All that I can say is that I am sorry!

What do you think? Should I feel like a hypocrite for getting bugged by someone hiding behind their namelessness in a magazine MailBag comment while admonishing someone else for their life choices and then reprimanding the magazine for putting her on their cover while I type in my mostly anonymous blog, in my anonymous home and office?

Props to My Caffeine Crew...

I am a huge supporter of that little cafe called Starbucks. Perhaps you have heard of one or two in or around your neighborhood! I was never a fan of coffee until I was introduced to the Venti Sugar-free Vanilla Breve Latte. It is a low carb, low cal hot cup of morning pick-me-up and I love it. Top it off with the fact that the Starbucks that I frequent on my way to work each morning knows me by name and I rarely ever have to tell them what my order is. Basically, I only have to tell the newbies of my Caffeine Crew.

My Caffeine Crew always puts cheer into my Morning Cranky Heart. They never fail to lift the spirits of this self-professed hater of the AM. And, this morning, they were unusually busy for that time. I walked in and, instead of getting right up to the register, I had to wait behind about 12 +/- people. But, they did a spectacular job of getting everyone out in a decent amount of time. All total, I think my visit was only around 10 minutes. Again, unusual but not at all frustrating. And, not only did they have to serve the people in the line inside in a timely manner but, they also had to serve the plethora of vehicles in the drive-thru. So, 10 minutes is barely a wait when you look at the big picture.

Props to Starbucks for the ability to hire the cheeriest, sweetest people. It is rare that I walk out their doors with no less than 4 personal good mornings. It is like my own personal Cheers in there. They compliment me on my clothes or my jewelry or they ask me how I am doing. They treat me like a friend in there. And, as a loyal visitor to their house for about 3 or 4 years, I appreciate all of the constant attentiveness that I get every day, no matter how very busy they are. Including today where I had 6 of the 7 people behind their counter greet me, compliment me and engage me in conversation...all while serving around 12 people in line in front of me, another 8 people who arrived behind me and the several other orders in the drive-thru!

Bravo to Starbucks and my Caffeine Crew!

6 And One Half Dozen of The Other

I mentioned before that it is rumored that Britney Spears does not have a California Driver's License. So, as a residence of the state of California, she should not be driving...right? Well, congratulations to Britney! She was spotted getting into the passenger side of her car Wednesday! Yay! Could she finally be getting more aware of the human need to follow the rules and more importantly...LAW? Well, before we all get too excited, it is rumored that she had a little something in her hand. It is rumored that that something that was in her hand was a Margarita. So, 2 yays for her choice to not drive while she had been drinking and, slightly less importantly, not drive while she doesn't have a California Driver's License. However, California has some silly law about not having an open container of alcohol in a moving vehicle! I know...how unfair and crazy is that law?

Well played Britney! Good job girl! You own your inability to abide by the same laws that the rest of us have to live with! Do it like it is your job Brit!

Today, My Sign Paid Off!

Over the past 5+ years that I have been at my company, we have had a lot of door-to-door solicitors. Now, I understand that everyone needs a job and these people are just doing theirs. But, there is a silver plate on our door with the words "No Soliciting" in big BOLD BLACK letters right on the front of our front door as you enter our office. The solicitors choose to ignore our kind request so, we have had to come up with more and more obvious ways of keeping them from entering.

This was our latest solution:

PRIVATE PROPERTY

UNLESS YOU

HAVE A FIRM

APPOINTMENT

DO NOT ENTER

THIS OFFICE!

IF YOU EVEN WONDER IF THIS IS YOU: WONDER NO MORE!

IT IS!

Excluding Package Delivery Services, Of Course!

Today, it finally paid off! A guy was out roaming around, door-to-door and my boss saw him step up to our door, stop, read, turn and walk away! Yay! Success!

Score one for our office!

Just a Funny Thing I Heard...

I love my local morning show on my favorite radio station. So much so that I even put a link to their web page up on my "Favorite Sites" list.

I don't really recall how the subject of Milk of Magnesia came up but, one of the hosts, in trying to explain it to another of his co-hosts said, "It is like making your stomach feel better by coating it with drywall."

I just thought I would pass that on as I found it humorous!

Trying to Break a Habit?

I have had a habit for as long as I can remember. I chew the insides of my cheeks and, it is ruining my gums. Basically, for those of us who do this nearly subconscious act, we are widdling away our gums down to the nerve and, it can result in root canals and loss of teeth. So, back in March, I broke out an old school habit breaking remedy that I remember hearing about when I was a kid. It was used to break habits like cursing, gossiping and who knows what else. I call it Rubber Band Therapy and, while I fell back into the habit of biting the insides of my cheeks again about 2 months ago, it works. I managed to kill the habit in 13 days (I started that session of RBT March 17th...St. Patrick's Day). They say it usually takes 28 days to break a habit. I was tickled to have broken it in just under half of that time. I managed to be cured for 4 months before something got me all torqued up again and, I harvested that stupid habit all over again. So, I am back to snapping my wrist each time I catch myself chewing my face. I will break this habit again.

So, the rules of Rubber Band Therapy are to wear a rubber band around your wrist and just give yourself a nice snap each time you find yourself performing your bad habit...whatever it may be. You will find yourself snapping your wrist a lot around the end of the first week because, it is at that point that you will start noticing how very much you do your habit. Then, by the end of your second week, you find yourself doing the act less and, therefore, snapping less. The theory behind RBT is to associate your bad behavior with self-imposed pain.

Despite my set back, of all the attempts and methods to break this habit that I have tried, RBT was the only thing that worked for me. Even the mere threat of causing myself cancer in my mouth was not enough to stop this bad behavior. And, that is what my Dentist told me. As you constantly break down your cells inside of your mouth, it can cause cancer. Not scary enough to make me quit so, I had to revert to physical pain and, knowing that it worked before keeps me positive that it will work again.

Another suggestion is to set a goal. Put your RBT start time on a calendar and set the end of your habit for 28 days later. If you know that you have to quit by a certain date, it will bring out your competitive edge and you will succeed. Possibly even before that date!

And, for those of you out there that chew the insides of your cheeks, do you need to use one of those tooth sensitivity toothpastes to brush your teeth? That is because of the exposed nerves that you are causing by the erosion of your gums. If you can break the habit, you will stop feeling that pain soon after. Your Dentist may have accused you of grinding your teeth in your sleep. That may not be the case. It is more likely your bad habit of chewing the inside of your face. I do grind my teeth perhaps once every other month. I know because I don't sleep well and, when I do grind my teeth, I wake myself up doing so. For as many times as I told my Dentist this, she didn't believe me until I showed improvement in my gums and got rid of the pain about a month after chewing my face. Now that I am back into my habit, my teeth are back to being sensitive. I am close to curing myself of the habit though as I can already feel a difference when I brush my teeth. They hurt less already!

So, give RBT a chance. See if it works for you!

Kanye West...

Since Kanye really started making a name for himself, I have liked some of his music. I love his newest release Stronger. It is the kind of song that empowers me and makes me want to get up off of my rear and dance like I own the floor.

However, I am not a fan of his as a person. I struggle to find a redeeming quality in the blow hards of the world. If you have been one of the lucky few to actually make it into the scrutinizing eye of the public, be humbled by it because, without us, you would not even be an option for such awards as the Video Music Award.

I take issue with his rumored temper tantrums upon not winning awards. I feel that no one should feel entitled to an award. Only the truly deserving should get them and, if you work hard enough, you too may find yourself on the receiving end of the reward of praise from your peers.

When you throw tantrums it slaps the faces of those of your peers that did win the awards instead of you and you should feel ashamed of yourself! Perhaps, you should take it as a lesson in humility and use it to win an award the following year. Perhaps, the person who won instead of you has shown grace as well as talent. Perhaps, instead of self-promotion, they opted to promote themselves in the most raw way. Simply by performing!

Let your talent sell you instead of your over bloated ego!

A Little Bit of Begging...

I am a humble person! So, I don't mind begging a little now and then! So, here goes! If you visit my blog, would you do me the much appreciated favor of posting a comment? Please?!!? It will be a nice way to show me that there is someone, other than my hubby, out there that actually reads what I have to say! Even if you just tell me that I am an idiot with too many opinions...I would love to hear from you, no matter what it is!

Thank you in advance!

Flowers I love...

Call this a Just Because I've Been Bitching Too Much sort of post!

I Love, Love, Love Lantana! It is the kind of flower that weathers heat well and goes from a few small bundles to about 3 feet tall with wide abundance in a garden. They are beautiful. And, for the potted Lantanas, they provide unbelievable color and do this little magic trick. They actually change colors! They can go from yellow to sunset pink and orange! So beautiful that it will break my heart when I have to say farewell to them for the winter! But, hopefully, since I live in the South, that won't be for a couple months longer.

If we can ever get out of this drought next year, I will be putting the ground cover in. For now, I am content to have them in one hanging basket and one potted arrangement on my front porch.

Just a little happy happy since it seems that I do more bitching than anything else! Hehehe!

I Didn't Get Her Fired...

I am not a mean spirited person! I like to try to forgive and forget which is why someone might ask me about something I said a while ago and, I can't remember ever saying it! I can get angry about something and, soon enough...it will be behind me and forgotten!

So, to say that I was pissed is an understatement. However, I gave myself some time to realize that things could have been much worse and, I did not pick up the phone to get her fired.

Here is the story, morning glories!

As is the case with most people, I was in a nice healthy bundle of rush hour traffic last week on my way home from work. I was in the home stretch...literally. I was in the turning lane steadily moving towards my subdivision. Coming out of my subdivision were a few cars. I have to turn left to get into the entrance of my subdivision and there was a small line of cars preparing to turn left out of it as I made my approach. I was still a small distance away when one car turned in front of me to get out. Fine. I'll give him that. I wasn't close enough to have to slam on my breaks and he got away clean. But, right behind him was a pizza delivery girl who, apparently just assumed that because he could do it, she could. She was a mere 2 feet from getting side swiped by my vehicle! I was pissed! It is an important part of her job to be a good driver! It is an important part of her job to abide by the traffic laws! As I honked at her for her stupidity, she gave me this look like I was the one doing something wrong! Are you freaking kidding me? So, in the 3 minutes that it took me to get home I stewed in my own juices and was making mental notes of the time, her hair color and whatever pertinent information I could remember so that I could call her employer and make a nice complaint that would, at the very least, ban her from making deliveries and put her either at the cash register or in the kitchen for the rest of her employment.

In order to make my stop so as not to hit her, my purse and a few items that I had bought over my lunch hour went flying to the floor of my car with an alarming thud. Most of them were fragile!

So, upon arriving home, I decided to calm down a bit and see if anything was broken. If even one thing had broken, chipped or cracked, I was prepared to make a call to her employer. Fortunately for her, nothing broke. But, I was still steamed so, I decided to wait a while and see how I felt about it a little later. Do I really want to get this girl in trouble or possibly fired? Everyone makes mistakes in traffic and I have been one of them! I was still pissed as I truly believe that it is important for any delivery companies to hire competent drivers and, she was quite possibly, not a competent driver.

So, a half hour later, I was still pissed but, decided that she probably needs her job as much as anyone else and, while I would get great satisfaction from getting her in trouble for nearly causing me to wreck my 9 month old car, I just couldn't be that kind of a vindictive person!

So, I didn't get her fired! If she only knew, I wonder if she would make sure to be a little more attentive of simple driving laws!

When I start Blogging...

Watch out! Sheesh! The flood gates have opened and now, it seems I can't stop saying things!

My favorite comedy, possibly of all time, had its season premiere last night and, I was not disappointed! What, you may be asking, is your favorite comedy, possibly of all time? Thank you for asking! It is How I Met Your Mother! It never fails to have me anywhere from giggles to unadulterated belly hurting, side splitting, tears down my face, mascara all over the place laughter! My favorite episode was "Swarley"! It does sort of bum me out that they haven't continued to call Barney Swarley now and then since then. But, I will get over it as, the genius behind this show is that they do revert back and forth so much that the writers do a smashing job of referring to things from the past in ways that bring it back to mind with a warm fuzzy and an, "Oh yea! I loved that part!" For example...The Slap Bet! And, with the age of Internet factoring into almost all of our lives on a daily basis, they launched this: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/how_i_met_your_mother/slapbet_countdown/

And, I know that, as much as I am already looking forward to the episode that accompanies that link, I will not be disappointed! I don't think that the word disappointment is even in How I Met Your Mother's writers' vocabulary!

So, if you aren't already a fan, give How I Met Your Mother a shot! And, if you gave it a shot when it first premiered and thought it not worth your time, try try again! The worst that might happen is that you have a half hour of laughter before moving on! Couldn't we all use even just one half hour of laughter?

A new Recommended Read...

I just added a new book to my "Recommended Reads" list. It is The Mephisto Club by Tess Gerritsen. It is a murder mystery and, while I am not done with it yet, I am hooked! It blends the past with the present and frustrates me when I have to wait a few more chapters to get a bit further into the drama surrounding one of the secondary characters. I am loving this book and hope that anyone who takes my suggestion, enjoys it as much as I have thus far!

Happy Reading

I'm Still Alive...

I just wanted to check in! I haven't had a lot to say! Well, actually, I have probably had too much to say lately! From my harsh feelings about Britney Spears and the fact that she is still driving despite not having a valid California driver's license, to O.J. Simpson having a nice healthy dose of Karma slapped squarely in his jaw! But, I guess I just haven't been able to pick which CelebuStupid Topic to get on my soapbox about!

I would like to suggest to the people of my state that we find the biggest, strongest industrial strength can of disinfectant spray and coat the entire city to protect us from whatever Britney Spears may have left behind on her recent visit!

As for me, it is a beautiful day and I look forward to 5:00!
See you soon!

A Game of "Who Said It?"

I know this is sort of late but, I was on vacation so, I am still playing catch-up.

So, let's get right to it, shall we?
Who said it?
"I love the fact that I cry!"

Easy right? Well, for those of you who watched Big Brother 8! When asked about her crying, Amber said that! Oh yes she did! Not only that, she actually said that she is proud that she cries saying that she is a sympathetic and empathetic person. Well, you got the latter part of those two words right, Amber! And, I can't help but ask if she really even knows the meaning of either one of those words given the fact that she didn't even know what
SCRUTINIZING means. And believe me, if you didn't watch the show, you don't know how very many words she had to quiz her fellow house guests for the meaning of throughout her time in the house. So, pardon me for my lack of faith in her ability to spout words like empathetic and be able to back up what she means!

See ya!

Rest Easy for Now Zach!

Congrats to Zach for his win in the first of the three part final HOH competition (Big Brother 8)! It was a trying competition lasting some 7 hours +! Daniele went out somewhere around 3 + hours into it! Dick seemingly saved up his venom to start spewing about 15 minutes before the start of the ShoToo Big Brother After Dark show, and boy did he ever spit that poison at Zach! I can't believe that he thinks himself of that much more moral fortitude than Zach for all the things he accused Zach of while using language so offensive that I am sure that BB will have to cut that entire hour or more out of the footage on Thursday's show! He accused Zach of everything from being a pervert to a racist among many other things while giving shout outs to Zach's ex-girlfriend nicknamed "Sweets". The thing is, Dick has used such abrasive language towards everyone in the house that, it was infuriating watching him, The Pot, calling Zach, The Kettle, black! But Zach handled it well! Really well! He simply put up with it and didn't respond for the longest time. When he finally did respond, it was really to laugh and imitate Dick's lunacy! Dick so wanted a response from Zach and I think he was actually disappointed when all Zach would give him was laughter! Sorry Dick!

So, in the face of Dick's ranting...congrats Zach! One more to go! Good Luck!

Bye Bye Jameka...

Let me be the first to say Farewell to Jameka (Big Brother 8). Unfortunately, the writing is all over her wall for tonight. Unless, Daniele is an even bigger brat that I already think she is, she will be using the Veto to take herself off the block, thereby voting to evict Jameka. I have never been Jameka's biggest fan but, I would have liked to have seen her and Zach as the final two since I have no other options as I can't stand Daniele and her never ending bitching and Dick and his bottomless pit of spit.

Farewell Jameka!
Good Luck Zach!

A Moment to Vent

Why would a business tell me twice in one conversation, that they are not open on Tuesdays when their website says they are open Monday-Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm. I won't go into great detail because, I like this business and don't want to hurt them in any way. But, I specifically asked them if they were open on Tuesdays...not once, but twice. Each time, the reply was "No"! So, today, I got a phone call at home from this business asking me to call them to discuss some information among other things. If you are not there on Tuesday's (note the date of this entry), how are you calling me from your business number and asking me to give you a call back at your business number on a day that you are not supposed to be open? And, why does your website say that you are open Monday-Friday? WTF?

Whew! Thank you! I feel only slightly better. Perhaps now the creeping migraine will subside.

Sean Preston & Jayden James Jolie-Pitt

I am pretty sure that I have heard others say this but, I have been saying it since her first little baby blunder. BTW, was her first blunder driving with him on her lap or almost dropping him on his head? Does it really even matter? The woman is a mess and, as far as I am concerned...her children should be adopted by Angelina Jolie. I may not agree with Angelina as far as her badge as a home wrecker. But, if that home (The Jennifer Aniston/Brad Pitt one) was a happy one, nothing could have broken it up. And, since I believe that it takes 2 to make a relationship, I can no more blame Angelina separately, than I can blame Brad all by himself. She could have, and should have known better than to take up a relationship with a married man but, he was a married man and should have kept his "Property of Jennifer Aniston" in his pants. But, I digress! This post is about the fact that Angelina seems to be a good mom and seems to "want" to be a mom more than Britney Spears wants to party until her extensions run screaming from her head. So, since Angelina has said that she wants more children, why doesn't she just adopt 2 young children from the states? They are already named and are in some serious need for care, love and attention. Not to mention a good dentist. Angelina, meet Sean Preston and Jayden James Spears-Federline...or whatever their last names are! Angelina couldn't possibly do a worse job with them than Britney! Not IMO, anyway!

So, that is my soapbox!
Feel free to discuss!

What do you think?

There is a question, or a thought I have been pondering, that I am dying to get the answer to. When all is said and done and Eric (Big Brother 8) finally gets to reveal his role as America's Player, will Jessica still want anything to do with him? She seemed unfazed by his role in Mustardgate and being the "Phantom Voter" as she called him. So, will she continue to laugh it off and take it for what it was worth? Will she accept the America's Player bomb and realize it was his job in the game and still continue to build a relationship with him? I can't wait to find out! I think they are adorable but, I couldn't help but notice that she seemed, at times, distant and removed from his advances. She seemed somewhat uncomfortable which made watching them together even more uncomfortable. But, I can only imagine how it feels to be in a house with cameras filming your every move for all of America and your family to see. So, any discomfort we, as the viewers, felt from her may have been just plain old camera shyness. And, what self-respecting person wouldn't feel that way?

So, despite what the nay saying remaining house guests are saying about Eric and Jessica's relationship, I am choosing to believe that it was real and I hope there truly is a budding romance between the two of them. And, I really hope that Jessica can see past any anger that might result from Eric's AP status and remember that it was his role in the game.

Also, I can't believe that I am cheering for Zach to win! I have been up in the air about him throughout most of the season. I didn't like him but was glad to hear him give Danielle some grief about getting through life based on her beauty. Then, he really was too under the radar for me to like or dislike. And, being a supporter of Jessica and Eric, I really gave him almost no thought. However, when he was up on the block against Amber, I told my Mom that I could see he and Jameka making it to final two. First of all, because he was one of the house guests that everyone complained about in the beginning. Danielle wanted him out the most. He was always brought up as a potential backdoor/replacement nomination. And, he never went up! From the previous 7 seasons, we know that the one person that everyone wants out week to week has to go out early on in the season or, they stand a great chance of making it to final 3, if not winning the entire thing. So, once he was going to make it against Amber, I saw him winning the entire thing. When will these house guests learn? If you play personally, you will lose right along side your target? If you play strategically, you will at least have gone down with a fighting chance.

Dick and Danielle should have gone forever ago?

So, my only hope is that Zach continues to show his stuff and wins the 3 part HOH to give Danielle the boot as, I don't think that anyone will pick Dick over him as the final first prize winner!

I can't wait to get the answer to all of my burning questions for the end of this season!

This Monkey Will Crack You Up!

I am hoping that I can get this to work. A friend of mine sent this to me and I laughed so hard, tears ran down my face!

For the Suspense Lovers

I listed my two most recent reads and, of those two, my favorite was The Good Guy by Dean Koontz. It is a fantastic read! In typical Dean Koontz fashion, he never failed my attention. I read it over Labor day weekend in about 2 and a half days and struggled each time I had to put it down. To Dean I say, Suspense is your middle name!

A Necessary Evil by Alex Kava was good. It took me a bit longer to read because my mind drifted now and then but, it was still worth reading to end the suspense.

Happy Friday and I'm sure I'll make myself heard again today! So, till then!

Why Do I Bother?

Can someone tell me why I even bother watching Big Brother? Those that I cheer for each year never make it to the end. I should just cheer for the person I despise most to win while secretly cheering inside my own head for who I really like. Maybe it is my own Karma hurting those I want to win! But, to answer my own question, I watch this show every year because it gives me such joy! I have a love hate relationship with the show. I love it when things go my way but I hate when it is over and loathe the idea of not being able to look forward to it 3 days a week for the next 9 months until we are reunited!

So, Jessica and Eric were evicted and there is not a single person in that house that I want to win. Let the ants win it. They have probably worked harder in that house and all of them have managed to get on the remaining house guests nerves while not bothering me a bit! Hooray for the Ants!

Til tomorrow!

I told you I was obsessed

As promised, here are a few thoughts on Big Brother 8.

Have any of you noticed that as the house guests become fewer and fewer this year, the hatred gets stronger and stronger and spreads. In other years, the last few house guests would actually start getting sad when they had to say goodbye to another one each week because, alliances kept strong were forced to break up. It seems different this year. Instead of saying, well...we knew this time would come. We must pick each other off now, they turn to hate. They target a new "hated" house guest each week. Dick said that he liked Eric in the beginning because he is a funny guy. Strange, but funny. He adored Jessica. In fact, as far as who he has yelled at, there was a minor little incident between the two of them once a month or two ago and, it was so small that they didn't even air it and I can't even remember what it was about. Nothing even remotely close to the dust ups he had with everyone else. In fact, I am questioning whether the incident between he and Jessica even happened. All of a sudden, he hates her. Is hatred the only way he can justify sending Jessica home? But, he hated Zach from the start and now he is ready to make out with the guy...IMHO. Ugh! The same goes with Danielle. She hated Zach and was ok with Eric and Jessica from what I could tell until she blamed Eric for Nick. I can't blame them for "hating" Amber. I hated her. Wanted her gone from nearly day one. Jen was a scapegoat for a lot of angst in my opinion. Anyway, what is the deal with the undeserved sudden hatred? Can't they just remember that saying that they are all so fond of: "It is just a game" and simply say that all but two will eventually be gone and this week, it is you?

My next bit is about my absolute favorite part of Big Brother...ever! I loved this week's AP task. Having Eric mimic Dick was great! First of all, of everyone in the house, the funniest thing is that Dick is a ticking time bomb on any given day but, he was the best person for Eric's task because Dick would probably be the only person who could and would take it light heartedly. I feel that anyone else would have gotten annoyed or pissed off...Danielle? Eric tore it up! He had me laughing myself to tears! Especially the cereal! That couldn't have gone better!

So, here is where I stand as far as who I want to win. I am probably one of a very small group of people who actually does like Eric. I think he is charming and funny. I was a little weary of him at first because during the first episode of BBAD, he simply wouldn't shut up. So, I worried he would annoy the heck out of the other house guests and would be gone really soon. But, he calmed down some (not a lot but enough) and I grew to like him. I also adore Jessica. I wasn't her biggest fan in the beginning based only on her voice and her wonky eye brows but, I do like her now and would love to see her and Eric in the final 2. So, it is with a sad heart that I see Dick and Daniel actively planning Jessica's demise on the show! I only hope that Eric gets pissed enough this time to use that anger to propel him to win HOH either for the second eviction or for the week! I parish the thought of that chronic spitter Dick or the constant bitcher Danielle getting HOH and giving Eric the heave.

I have been disappointed every single year by the winner. This year, of everyone that is left, the only two that I absolutely do not want to win are Danielle and Dick!

So, we shall see!

Moving forward, here are some things you can expect to read about on my blog...and keep in mind that I am a lot of things. I am opinionated, silly, at times cranky and an overall dork! But, I hope to be, above all, entertaining!
I will talk about shows that I like, love and hate. I will gripe about American Idol as I believe that Kelly is, and was the one and only. Although, Daughtry has talent but, I do not and will not watch that show...period! I will talk about celebrities and what they have done, are doing and probably will do and I will be very opinionated about it. I'll talk about music, books that I have read or am reading, traffic when I need to get something off of my chest, products I like and dislike and I might include the occassional favorite recipe.

So, I think I am done for today!
See you soon!

MY First Time

So, this is my first time so, forgive me for how boring it might or might not be. And, it really probably won't be that long today!

I will probably talk a lot about shows that I obsess over. One in particular, at least until the end of the season in about 12 days, is Big Brother 8! I Love, Love, Love that show! I surf other sites for updates on what is going on in the house as we speak and I watch Big Brother After Dark. Well, really, I record it and fast forward through what looks boring to get to the good stuff. But, it is my all time favorite show ever and, I get excited for it about 2 months before it starts and am sad when it is over!

So, that is really all for now! I promise that it will get better! As I said, I am new to this and, have an appointment to get ready for in 5 minutes!

I hope you come back!
